  • Education is a basic Human Right and the Diaspora World Cup global school program focuses its energy in some the poorest countries around the world. We build schools in some of the poorest countries around the worldthat historically had no adequate school structure. Any member of the World Diaspora has the power to end illiteracy around the world through the power of soccer.
  • High-profile sport figures, global leaders, business leaders, political figure, journalists, activists, philanthropists, actors, and entrepreneurs united by their commitment to the Diaspora World Cup mission to eradicate illiteracy around the world through the power of soccer. They serve as role models and spread the Diaspora World Cup vision and commitment of a world mobilized through soccer.

The 2018 Diaspora World Cup was a landmark event in history of the Diaspora in the Washington DC metro. From the second title of England to the same vibrant atmosphere at the Germantown SoccerPlex stadium, the tournament delivered unforgettable moments. It was a celebration of soccer’s global appeal and a testament to the power of sport to unite people across cultures. As we look back, the memories of 2010 remain etched in the hearts of fans worldwide, reminding us why we love the beautiful game.
It provided unforgettable stories and moments. From the magical run of South Africa of Basma Ali to lift the trophy to the historic use of the Panenka for the first time by Armenian attacking midfielder Carlos Stein. The Panenka is more than just a penalty kick. It is a symbol of artistry and unpredictability of soccer games. This daring technique has become a mainstay of the beautiful game, embraced by main players and substitutes alike. While the risks are high, its rewards make it a cherished part of soccer history. Whether celebrated or criticized, its presence on the pitch ensures that the spirit of creativity remains at the heart of soccer.
