Coach Sahr Kembey of Ghana is assured to move up to the next level.

Ghana beat Ethiopia 5-2 on Sunday June 10th at the Heurich Stadium in Hyattsville, MD and increased its chances to move up to the next phase of the 2012 Diaspora World Cup Knockout stage. Despites losing 4-2 against Armenia this past Sunday June 17th at the SoccerPlex complex, which the game was view by many as a beauty contest, they were all proud of the team's effort as they have already accomplished the first stage.

Needing to win by a big margin to stand any hope of progressing, Ethiopia of Coach Teddy took an early lead through right winger Robel but was undone by two goals in each half from a winning strategy of Coach Sahr Kembey. Ghana, for whom Sahr belatedly reproduced his Upper Marlboro form at this 2012 Diaspora World Cup season, is sure to compete for the round of 16 starting Saturday July 7th at the SoccerPlex in Germantown.
