The 2013 Diaspora World Cup group games is in full speed right now, and while teams like Nigeria and France have won in the past two years they are no longer as strong as they once were. The country destined to surpass France in 2013 is Congo DR. There are several reasons why Congo DR is the Diaspora team of the future. Here are two of them.

1. Balancing Talent and Heavy Physical Activity during weekly practices.

Over the past few weeks, Coach Boni Tambwe squad has seen changes. Players move in and out of the lineup as he figures out who is worthy of his team. This has caused him to lose his first game badly 4-0 to Nigeria on May 5th at the Roy Lester Stadium. But, for the most part, the core of the Congo DR Diaspora Team has remained the same. Boni consistently calls up his veteran players, but young stars players are getting their chances as well as he admitted to us he is not one for calling up players simply because of their reputation. He stressed the fact that if one can come to practices twice a week and prove yourself, he will definitely give you a shot at the Diaspora World Cup group games including the knockout stage.

2. Consistent Winning with a curve moving up and up

It is obvious that winning matches is a good thing. But, the trend is the most important and the Diaspora Team of Congo DR has proven to go from good to better and is clearly on the right path. So why shouldn't one think that a team constantly in winning forms could win the 2013 Diaspora World Cup? We should expect nothing but wins for the Congo DR throughout the rest of the group stage games as they will not see too much competition in their qualifying group except when the team will face the Diaspora Team of Ethiopia. This could be the last time there will be any hiccups from this Congo DR squad until the actual knockout stage begins on July 20.
